Public Safety:
Commitment to Life and Community
The number one responsibility of any city leader is to ensure the safety of its residents. For Moises Rodrigues, safety is not just about numbers or statistics - it's about people. It's about families feeling safe in their homes, children playing in parks without fear, and small businesses thriving in a protected environment.
As Mayor, Moises will strengthen community policing with more investment, training, and modern equipment. The relationship between residents and law enforcement will be built on trust, respect, and partnership.
Support for our police officers, firefighters, and first responders will be expanded - with advanced technology, mental health resources, and recognition. But safety also means looking beyond uniforms and patrol cars:
- Invest in crime prevention programs, especially focused on youth
- Strengthen social programs in partnership with local churches and nonprofits
- Tackle the root causes of addiction with more treatment and support centers
- Work side by side with neighborhoods to build a culture of mutual protection
